Macron Software got its start in the early 1990s as the software division of Macron Ltd., by localising the first Czech versions of key applications and, more importantly, operating systems (MacOS, Windows 95, Office 95, Windows NT, Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and others).

In 2000 we became Macron Software, a company specialising in the development of web applications and multimedia-related services. We’re proud of the fact that some of the biggest sites in the Czech Republic now rely on our systems (please see our references), and we have established long-term partnerships with a number of the world's major publishers of multimedia products (Dorling Kindersley, BBC Worldwide, Espresso/Channel4 Learning, among others).

Our strength is efficient, systematic professionalism. Our flagship product, the WebToDate content management system, is a powerful and reliable tool suitable for the most complex website development projects.
