Martin Šafář (*1965) 

Managing Director

A graduate of Prague's Technical University in the department of Electronic Computers, Martin worked in a variety of management positions at TIS Apple Computer IMC starting in 1990. Later, he went on to start his own software company. After its acquisition by Macron, he became Managing Director of Macron Software.

Martin speaks English and Spanish, can communicate in German and Russian, and for over a year has been struggling with the basics of Arabic.

Tomáš Novák (*1968)

Sales Director

Tomáš has worked in the IT field since 1989. He is co-founder of Macron and in the past 20 years has held a number of management positions in marketing and sales. Currently, his focus is sales and project management.

He mostly speaks Czech to his clients, is fluent also in English, and has recently been trying hard to master Italian.

Vladimír Soukal (*1972)

Technical Director

After graduating from Prague's Technical University, Vladimír joined Macron Software as a software engineer. Since 2000, he has been heading our department of development, localisation and support for multimedia applications. Since 2008, he has headed our production department, the main task of which is implementing web presentations based on the WebToDate publication system.

He speaks English, and, as attested by his report cards from grammar school and university, probably speaks some Russian and German as well.

Jaroslav Česenek (*1965)

System architect

Jaroslav graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague, majoring in approximation and numerical methods. In the past, he has worked at TIS, Apple Computer IMC. He has been with Macron Software since 1997, first as Head Programmer, and now as System Architect. His job involves analysis, project proposal and planning, system architecture, consulting, technical specifications, documentation and methodology. He speaks English.
