Dorling Kindersley

We have partnered with Dorling Kindersley since 1997. In 2000, we obtained exclusive rights for the sale of licenses of all DK CD-ROMs in all non-English-speaking markets worldwide. The DK catalogue includes a series of more than 40 educational CD-ROMs for children, from games for younger children (age 3 to 5) to extensive encyclopaedias on various topics.

Our licensing partners are local publishers throughout Europe and other continents.

Espresso/Channel 4 Learning

Macron has a similar licensing arrangement with Espresso/Channel4 Learning. Extr@ is a range of interactive DVDs for language learning in:

• English
• Spanish
• German
• French

Each DVD contains episodes of an original sitcom combining entertainment, a natural feel and ease of comprehension, which are essential for everyone who learns a foreign language.

The DVDs contain the following:

• 32 episodes, each 25 minutes long – in all 121 hours of video
• a narrated vocabulary of each episode
• 90 interactive exercises

BBC Worldwide

We’re the licensing partner for the BBC Worldwide catalogue in all non-English speaking markets. These titles include primarily games for younger children and are based on BBC TV characters such as the popular:

• Bob the Builder
• Teletubbies
• Noddy
• Pingu
• Tweenies
• and many others
